Artist looking for affordable studio space in San Francisco? Join our studio waitlist! This list is for artists who’d like to be notified when a studio becomes available for rent in one of The Point’s four artist studio buildings. Help us understand your work, needs and preferences, so we can better match you with the right space.
When a studio becomes available, we email an Open Call to artists on the waitlist who’ve indicated an interest in the studio's size and price range. That Open Call invites artists to view the studio and apply for it.
Please note that priority is given to artists living in our immediate neighborhood, the Bayview/Hunters Point, and to BIPOC artist applicants. Keep in mind that joining this waitlist is not an application for a studio; it simply means you'd like to be notified when a suitable space becomes available.
You can join the waitlist for either the Hunters Point Shipyard, Islais Creek Studios, or both. The demand is high for both locations, with the Shipyard studios having an especially long waitlist. We appreciate your patience as you search for the perfect space, as there are many artists already on the waitlist who will be contacted first.
When you fill out our online studio waitlist form, rest assured that we do not sell or share your information. We use it solely to try to match you with a suitable studio. For more information, please read The Point's Privacy Policy.
